EPIC Miami’s Master Developer Ugo Colombo

A native of Milan, Italy, Ugo Colombo moved to Miami in 1983. He originally became known for his luxury residential projects along some of Miami’s hottest waterfront spots.

Many of the residential projects Colombo completed in the 1990s became primary and second homes to wealthy Latin Americans and Europeans. He has a business degree from the University of Miami and shows his entrepreneurial spirit through his love of real estate, luxury cars (The Collection) and glass manufacturing (Glasswall).

Ugo Colombo has come to define and dominate the niche, high-end condo market. His creations are quoted as representing prime examples of legendary living. His latest venture with EPIC Miami Hotel and Residences reflects this perfectly. Colombo’s “legacy of unfailing perfectionism” makes the EPIC condos premier luxury real estate.

Some of his previous residential developments in Miami included the likes of the Santa Maria and Bristol, gracing the Brickell Avenue skyline and Grovenor House in Coconut Grove. The EPIC project blends Ugo’s talent and eye for perfection beautifully.

Additionally, the development will feature a public waterfront walkway that would connect to the river walk which will eventually connect several miles of riverfront projects.

Colombo’s CMC Group combines forces with father and son team Alfredo and Diego Lowenstein of Lionstone Development and Amancio Ortega’s Ponte Gadea Group. The 54-story, 342 unit building - the first in the project - is slated for completion in the winter of 2008.
