Spring in Miami

Everyone knows that “Spring” is a time for cleaning, blooming flowers and preparation for summer. While most of the United States eagerly waits for the snow to melt in order to break out their swimsuits and sandals, residents of Miami bask in the weather and plan out which events to attend. Because of Miami’s pleasant springtime weather, national and international events are planned during these months. Take for example the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Miami International Film Festival, Ford Championship Golf Tournament, Sony Ericsson Open, Miami Spring Home Design & Remodeling Show, Miami Fashion Week of the Americas, just to name a few. And don’t forget all the sporting events the city has to offer- NBA champions Miami Heat, Florida Marlins, and even a professional soccer team.
