Downtown Living - EPIC Style

Downtown Miami’s vibrant neighborhood is without question one of the most sought after areas for those in search of luxury Miami real estate. Where else can you live, work and play all within close proximity to your waterfront condo?

With the energy and vibe of cities like New York and London, Downtown Miami is an urban epicenter that presents the ideal city living environment. EPIC residents will be surrounded by an infinite array of exciting destinations and attractions, and have easy access to fine dining, Miami cultural events and more.

By simply stepping out from their Miami waterfront condominium lobby, residents can choose from a variety of options including Bayfront Park’s “Movies under the Stars,” or the American Airlines Arena for a Miami Heat game or spectacular concerts by today’s most popular artists. The new Carnival Center for the Performing Arts provides the quintessential setting for today’s most popular operas, ballets and Broadway productions, while Biscayne Bay’s crystal blue waters are perfect for a day out on the boat with friends. At night, the Downtown Miami skyline glitters with lights as its streets pulse with activity. The hottest nightclubs, eateries and bars are among the best the city has to offer.

'Swimming with Sharks' at Local Miami Gallery

New York, London, and Paris can go take a flying leap, or better yet, they can go “Swimming with Sharks.” That’s the name of a new sculpture exhibit by Miami’s own Ralph Provisero, and it’s proof positive that the world’s top art centers have got nothing on the Magic City.

Using his working knowledge of engineering and architecture, Provisero thinks big. His large-scale sculptures evoke thoughts of heavy machinery, both futuristic and archaic -- as if the Wright Brothers were creating schematics for the Starship Enterprise. This exhibit is on display at the Dorsch Gallery (151 NW 24th St., Miami) until September 1. Gallery hours are from 1 to 5 p.m., Thursday through Saturday. Call 305-576-1278, or visit http://www.dorschgallery.com/.
